We like to reimagine traditional foods and find a way to make them delicious, healthy and more sustainable. Plant-based cheese alternatives are nothing new anymore. But getting the right satisfaction from them…? So we went to work and dove into the craft of fermentation…for years!
We worked on artisinal, low ingredient and environmental friendly alternatives to the alternatives. Made with vegan cultures also found in traditional cheeses. It wasn’t always easy, on the technical as well as the ontological level.
It is never going to be the same, and whoever enjoys cooking and recipe crafting knows that IT DOESN’T EVER HAVE TO BE THE SAME. How else would there be over 1800 dairy cheese variations in the world?
Our goal is to find new-old ways to make nutrition of the future something exciting and mouthwatering while also taking utmost care of our planetary resources.
We love to see so many new foods and food concepts out there and we are just doing our part in this revolution.
Our facility is located in the lower level of an old factory building in Koblenz, Aargau. It hasn’t been in commercial use for well over a decade, and even suffered a small fire some years ago. We took it upon us to save the building from obscurity and slow decay and renovated it into a food production facility.
We hope to fill this space with plenty of delicious, plant-based creations and further invest in long-lasting infrastructure to keep them coming.
